A Blue Moon?
Saturday marks the second full moon of the month. The last time a month saw two full moons was back in November 2001. (It won't happen again in North America until May 2007). I'm facsinated by how many different meanings have been historically attributed to a blue moon. Sky and Telescope does an excellent job of tackling the question of what exactly is a blue moon?
