Aloha

Diamondhead Sunset
Sunday night we made it to Hawaii. This place is great. I don't have time to post much now but for starters, here's a picture of Waikiki beach at sunset. Diamond Head is in the background.

More to come.

Boooooring, Jordan. So boring.

As to the Supreme Court case mentioned in an earlier post, I went nuts upon reading it and sent it to various people, including John Ashley and Palmer. We all concurred that the decision was, if you'll pardon the expression, "shit." I'm as liberal (moderate) as the next guy, and I do have my socialist tendencies, but I do not ever want my constitutional rights tramped upon, especially those involving the key ideas of life, liberty, and the pursuits of happiness and property.

This is the funniest response to Kelo that I've seen yet:

I've also heard it said that the quickest way to overturn Kelo - and, let's be honest, the long trail of terrible eminent domain decisions that preceded it - would be to have some small town in Utah seize the property that a Planned Parenthood clinic rested upon, to build a Wal-Mart.
